Okay, well here goes my version of what’s going on in this picture:

Sarah walked into her apartment and tossed her keys in the bowl and made her way to the kitchen. This had been the worst week in history. What she needed was a glass of wine and a hot bath so she could put it all behind her.

With glass in hand, she headed down the hallway, kicking off her shoes as she walked. She pushed open the bathroom door and stopped dead in her tracks. Her roommate, Tyson, stood at the sink with only a little towel wrapped around his waist, shaving cream on his face, looking more delicious than any man had the right to.

“Oh sorry, Ty. I…I didn’t realize you were home,” she stammered. Damn, why did she have to have a crush on her roommate? How cliché was that? Pathetic single girl lusts after roommate who never sees her. Gah. She took a sip of her wine.

“No worries.” He looked her up and down. “Tough day?”

“The worst,” she replied.

“I’ll be out of here in a minute,” he told her. “You planning on taking a bath?”

“Mmm hmm,” she mumbled, unable to take her eyes off his naked chest. She knew she should move her feet but she just couldn’t seem to take the step necessary.

“Did you need something else?” he asked, a sexy smile on his face.

“What? Oh no, nope not me, I’m good.” She backed out of the bathroom, hitting her hip on the doorframe as she fled. Nice, real smooth, Sarah.

Tyson rapped on her bedroom door a couple of minutes later. “It’s all yours,” he called.

She pulled open her bedroom door and nearly bumped into her roommate. Tyson stood outside her bedroom door with a rose in his hand.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

He dropped to his knee in front of her. “Want to be my Valentine?”

“Haha, very funny. Quit screwing around,” she told him.

“I am being serious.” He stood up. “Sarah, do you have any idea how crazy about you I am?”

She shook her head mutely. Holy Shit, how much had she drank? There was no way Tyson Reeves was hitting on her.

He twirled a curl of her hair with his finger. “Honey, I’ve been biding my time waiting for the right time to ask you out.” He stepped closer, crowding her space. Her stomach fluttered from the close contact. “And with Valentine’s Day right around the corner it seemed like the perfect time.”

“Really?” she sighed.

He leaned in closer, his breath hot against her cheek. “Really. How can you not know how you affect me?”

“How I affect you?” With Tyson’s body pressed so close against her she could barely remember her own name let alone remember anything else.

He wrapped his arm around her waist and pushed her back against the wall. His erection hard against her hip. “Yes, how you affect me.”

“Oh my,” she sighed.

He nipped her ear, sending a shiver down her spine, her nipples beaded tightly against the lace of her bra.

“So what do you say? You want to be my Valentine?” he whispered then sucked her earlobe between his lips.

Moisture pooled in her core. “I’ll be anything you want me to be,” she told him.

Tyson groaned. “Baby, you don’t know how happy I am to hear you say that.” He threaded his hand into her hair and pulled her towards him. Searing her lips with a kiss.
