Valentine’s Day– Blog Hop

Welcome to the Valentine’s Blog Hop, if you’ve fallen off the bus just click on the picture above and you can get back on. Also if you are jumping on the tour midway if you click on the picture you can start at the beginning.

I’m Lauren Fraser and I write contemporary romance, I admit my books tend to be on the steamy side. *grin* Feel free to cruise on over to my bookshelf to see what’s available since one person will be winning their choice of a book from my backlist.

5 great Valentine’s Gifts

5. Champagne

4.  Now who doesn’t like sweets?

3. Sexy Underwear.

Probably not the kind of underwear you were thinking of, huh? What can I say I’d rather look at this kind. LOL

2. You can’t go wrong with flowers

1 Chocolate. Yes I know I have a picture with chocolate twice but come on, it is the number one Valentine’s gift for a reason.

5 worst Valentine gifts (thank goodness I’ve never been given one of these. LOL)

5. Two for one coupons for a restaurant

4. Plastic Flowers

3. Deodorant.  What happened to perfume? LOL

2. 3 month membership to weight watchers. Ouch.

1. Instead of lingerie your partner gives you control top panty hose or spanx.

Alright so that’s my list of best and worst presents. I’d love to hear what’s on your list.

My Valentine’s Gift to you.

Happy Valentine’s Day hope you enjoy.

Though some guys might think its sexy…I find getting a sex toy for Valentines Day kinda tacky.

Yes I have been on the receiving end of this lol.

  • Worst: I once got a crockpot. Yeah, that went over like a lead balloon. LOL
Best: Dinner, chocolates, movie, lots of attention and hand holding.

  • Leanne109 says:

LOL I would adore a gift certificate for a massage or something like it.
Worse present would be to get nothing and I don’t want no more flowers lol

  • Cathy M says:

My favorite gifts are a spa day, dinner at a restaurant on the beach that we can take a walk on after, and See’s Candy chocolate pecan fudge.

I’d take a spa day. Can I take my laptop so I can write while they massage?

  • A hunk covered in chocolate is all I need..

  • Elizabeth (BookAttict) says:

The best was a couples spa day — complete with champagne & strawberries!
The worst — a convenience store rose (with the price sticker still attached)

I hate to cook, so a dinner out turns me on. Last year we went to a nice Italian restaurant and afterward went to our local ice cream shop for a decadent turtle sundae that we shared

  • Stacia Kelly says:

I have to say the Vermont Angel Teddy Bear shipped to my office the one year was absolutely precious. The worse was the year my husband thought….oh, we’re doing something on the weekend, so instead, he went out for Happy Hour after work with one of the guys and didn’t get home till after midnight. LOL. That never happened again ;)

  • Julianne says:

Plastic flowers for real??? I’m dreaming of a HAWT sexy guy dipped in chocolate. I asked for a new toy last year for Valentine’s Day. I got it. But I also got surprised with a 3 pc jewelry set. Silver necklace, earrings and ring with a light purple heart stone.
I don’t think I’m getting anything this year.

A good gift for me would be spending the whole day with my honey eating chocolates and cuddling while we watch movies. A bad gift? I once got what at first glance looked like an awesome piece of jewelry because of the box…turns out inside the box was a ringpop…yeah he thought it was cute…not really….

As my husband treats me on any given day to handmade jewellery and soft toys for no reason than that he loves me I find I don’t care what happens on Valentine’s Day.
